I'm looking for 3 roboteers to join me for a sportsman antweight event in Stoke Newington (NE London) on the evening of Thursday 13 October. Approximate fighting times will be 20:00-20:40, but if earlier is more convenient for the roboteers, it can run 19:00-19:40.
I'm hosting a trial of a night of live music with some robot fighting in the middle and I figured a 4 robot round robin (1 per roboteer) would be the simplest way to see if this works. 5 guaranteed fights per roboteer: 3 group stage, either the 3/4 playoff or final and a rumble. If I get a lot of interest, I can expand the tournament to 6 or 8 places.
There will be a small trophy for the winner and if the night makes a profit, roboteers will be paid a portion of it. Because we'll be putting on a show, I'm planning pre/post fight interviews and roboteers on microphones during fights.
