Update to the update!

The café *will* now be open!

From 10-5, so I'll have the tuck shop open while they're closed, but we'll be able to get proper coffee from 10am

i would like to take this opportunity to thank yourself, Dave and everyone else involved in organising this event... there has been so much effort put into it, its unreal.

i (and im sure everyone else) really appreciate the lengths you have all gone to to make this event one to remember.

excitement has definitely set in for me and i am proud to be a part of this

im hoping everything goes smoothly... i know i will be doing everything i can to help that be the case.

Loads of people have pulled together to make it special, from the robot community & my colleagues at the venue (who I'll convince to build robots one day...).

Hopefully it will all go as expected tomorrow haha. I'm definitely excited!

Fantastic event. Huge thank you to Dave, Sarah and everyone who got involved in judging, commentating and helping out.

Congrats to Andrew H and Anticide for winning again - think its probably time he kept the trophy and we got a new one. Amazing consistency.

In case it wasnt obvious, I entered the original AWS 1 spec Pants and Cannon Fodder to show how far things have come - thanks for the jokes about the size of my ariel - but they survived ok, if very slow on servos. I did have to replace a servo gear in Cannon Fodder as it striped.

I will have to build a proper new one now.
