Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
With regards to numbers you've got 30 teams signed up, so that should be up to 60 roboteers, going by previous events (not sure if that's good or bad, but thought it might help as you've not been to an aws before)
Team Zero - AWS 58 Champion!
Zero - rambot - - Axiom - axebot - - Valkyrie - drum spinner
Blueprint - rambot - - Vampire - horizontal spinner - - Particle - ???
RBMK - quad spinner gyro walker - - Duality - dual spinner gyro walker

George - If you can that'd be a massive help.
Joey - As it currently stands my event insurance is set for 100 people. The space we think can possibly take a few more (but in true UoS fashion we're not 100% sure) - so we're just going to have to be a little bit careful.

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
I have *literally* just had it pointed out to me that the postcode and the local map seemingly bear no resemblence to each other.....
This is a part fail on my part, and part fail on the University for providing the wrong address, which I blindly copy-pasted.
A *sensible* postcode that will get you in vaguely the right place is SO16 7QF.
Apologies for this last minute update.

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
All settled in at the hotel (after a minor fire alarm scare!) and very much looking forward to tomorrow - it's been far too long and I want to catch up with people
Jigsaw is ready, and Chickens From Outer Space just needs, erm, chickens (so all of it really), but nothing that can't be fixed.
Me and Tracy will try and get there before 10, which means we'll probably be outside at 8 waiting for things to open
Good luck everyone, and travel safely tomorrow morning!

For people wanting to view the event Antlog: http://antlog.arc-robotics.org.uk (live from about 08:30 tomorrow morning). This is available over mobile internet access and is reliant on the venue's internet connection working for it to work.
If you have a tablet and want the now/next display that's available at http://antlog.arc-robotics.org.uk/nownext/ (again from 08:30 tomorrow morning).
