A proper computer aided design (well robot arena 2) of what titanomyrma should look like but it would have blue and orange paint. p.s this robot I built on robot arena is called over powered door wedge.

Re: first ant build diary!!!
I'm really nervous it's not too long till my planned first event and I don't even have a physical design I'm scared that I don't have the tools it may have to just be superglued as I don't own a glue gun and I don't know what sized drill bit for making holes to mount the motors plus the transmitter isn't even ordered I'm scared I really am.

Re: first ant build diary!!!
I wouldn't advise supergluing - it can have bad effects on some plastics (particularly polycarbonate). I wouldn't advise a glue gun either - for a first robot I'd just create most of the structure by folding and bending and use tape to secure panels, and learn from what you see and experience
What I've always done with the motor mount holes is make them larger than they need to be (so a 2.5 or 3mm drill bit, assuming the Pololu mounts with random imperial bolts) which allows for the motor positions to be adjusted slightly to keep the robot level - when everything's all tightened up it's extremely solid.
