first ant build diary!!!

We can't forcefully motivate you to build this for you. You have a 6 page build diary already, people are trying to help you as hard as they can but you need to cut yourself some slack and help yourself.

This is antweights, the build of the robot isn't the be all and end all! No ant is ever perfect, who cares if you mess up the design a little. I CAD and 3D print antweights and they never come out right first time, I've fought with printed robots where the disc is 5mm to the right of the center of the robot and never realised!

If you're really concerned I want you to list EXACTLY how you think you'll mess up and I'll tell you why it doesn't matter. But tomorrow evening I want to log on and see some motors stuck to some polycarb or cardboard.

This exactly there's honestly no magic or secrets about building robots; nothing separates me and you other than experience, and 'experience' is just a word that means I've made far more mistakes than you have. You can do it, I promise, and I can pretty much guarantee your first effort will be better than mine was - you have the benefit of radio gear with a non-broken aerial, so you have half a chance of going in a straight line!
