You can bent 1 - 2mm polycarb just like stiff cardboard; it's how all my bots are built.

Thanks for telling me that but I think I will stick to gluing and putting screws in.

Denise used bent polycarbonate that gave it a 'shell'. I then screwed the wedge on, which was a separate piece.

I'm getting really nervous about how I'm going to cut out the design and stick it all together as well as making sure art the pieces match up and are smooth. I wish I could get them already cut.

I'm struggling to even make a cardboard mock up concept.

You're thinking about it waaaaaaaaaay too much. Just cut cardboard and stick it together. Don't even bother measuring, just use it to play around and get build ideas.

Dude.... It's an antweight. Just cut cardboard and stick it together and voila... You have an ant. It really is that simple!

I have this half done guy sitting on my desk right now, not measured at all but it's still an ant.

It's okay if it isn't perfect. Denise's mockup and final product were FAR from perfect.

I know it's simple and I really shouldn't worry about it too much it's just I know i will mess it up like I usually do for most things.
