hey guys, I know this is really early, but we had to book the venue way in advance for our second event. i think ant open 2013 was quite successful with overal a good turnout and a great competition. this one will take place on the 22nd of november, ( hopefully this time not clashing with doctor who ). all suggestions for the event are welcome.

venue location details:
melrose hall, popley, basingstoke, hampshire earth, solar system, milky way, universe, RG249EF.

day plan:

setting up: 9AM-10AM

signup opens at 10AM.

fleaweight melee: 11AM.

the main competition will then begin. there will be a 20 minute lunch break at 12:30. after the main competition is concluded there will be tag team annihilator, football and finally the award ceramony.

rules: this event will follow the AWS rules with the exception of the entry rule that mandates only 3 rollers and one walker/cluster. for this event you can enter 4 robots regardless of whether they are walkers, rollers or clusterbots. this is to give the day a more relaxed feel and allow those of us who have more than three rollers to give one that doesn't usually get entered a go.

Ehh i cant make it to most events I live in yorkshire, and my dad doesnt drive me for more than two hours

Can you take the train? I live in Yorkshire sometimes and that's how I get to most events

I'd definitely be up for going to this if I can - the key word there being if, as I don't really know what I'm doing beyond the end of June!
