I'll be at Collectormania in MK this weekend so can't make this even though it's just down the road.

so far we have fifteen robots signed up. I think it'll be a 10AM start. hopefully we can get some more teams signed up before the 23rd. thanks to everyone that has already signed their robots up.

I hate to be a burden, but is there anyone who'd be able to give me a lift from/to Basingstoke Rail Station? If so, what time would you like me to be there for?

Scott I'll be going into Basingstoke station as well so we could always split the cost of a cab?

a cab from the station to abbey road costs about a fiver. alternatively the number 5 buss leaves from the front of the station and will drop you off practicly at the door of the hall. let me know if you want walking directions.

It has been pointed out to me by my better half that the Dr Who 50th anniversary special is on the same day as our event!! We are planning the event to be finished about 5pm, but competetors that would like to, are welcome to come back to our house (just round the corner from the venue) to watch it

We are also looking at having a special guest, who I will announce when he confirms with me!!

Hello, this event is good for me, as it is quite close and I have now signed up with my one remaining robot, under a new name. It will be good to be back and see you guys again, and hopefully see some new faces as well

robot registration will open at 10AM. the non spinner contest will begin at about 11AM. i think it'll be run the same way as a standard AWS. i might bring my non spinner testing area along. there will be certificates in the following catagories:
best spinner, best looking robot, best driver, annihilator winner, most destructive, most destroyed, most innovative robot and tag team winners.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer going to be able to attend this. I'm currently in the process of moving house, and just as with robots, everything is taking far longer than I thought it would, so I'll have to spend next weekend doing house stuff also.
