Its what I get for using an old factory (thats now used for storage for other people by the owner) as a workshop.
On the plus side, there is a FW-sized scale that comes with the factory

Since it's looking like I'll be spending the rest of the week in there I thought I'd post a couple of photos of Team Shock's Workshop theres also one of how tidy the mill was- after a couple of days using it it no longer looks that neat

Re: work areas.
Have spent most weekends over the past couple of months converting a garden shed into my workshop. There are still a few things needing done to it but it's at the photogenic stage now:

It's lit by 6m worth of ultra-bright LED strip lights from Giant-Cod (300 LEDs in total) powered by a 12V battery. For roughly £40, it's really bright and gives a much more even spread of lighting than a conventional neon strip light or a couple of bulbs would.

My mild OCD got the better of me when mounting stuff on the walls.

This back wall/bench is just a dumping ground for bits and bobs just now but will soon be home to a pillar drill, bench grinder and vice.
All I can say is - it's so nice to not have to be building robots in my bedroom anymore!
