You have to love Hobbyking, as long as you can wait :D
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left

This thread is now ruined, as no-one is going to want to put their new robot up after Raoul

I just plugged in Raoul, for a quick test run,and he was very slow, and there wasn't enough juice to turn the drum. :(
I plugged the battery into my charger, and started to charge it,but 30 seconds later, the charger said that it had completed. But the charge was no better. I noticed that the charger was reporting fluctuating voltages,from9v,up to 17v,back to 9v again, during the charge?!?
So I plugged in an old 180mah 7.4v lipo, and he ran great for a minute or so,then the brushless esc started to melt with LOTS of smoke. I yanked off the lipo, which was also VERY VERY hot. :o
I have a second esc,so I will plug that in,and see what happens!! Looks like I am one esc,and one 11.1v lipo down though! :(

LOL! Cheers. I think that I might have had a problem with the esc from the start,as now I have put in the second "spare" esc, even on a 7.4v lipo, the drum seems MUCH faster!! :o
