At the moment it is staying fireglass / titanium mix. I might double the thickness of the fibreglass but I think it should hold.

The fibreglass disc on Anticyclone didn't hold mainly because I drilled 3mm holes in the narrow part of it to mount the titanium cutters and then tried to take out Kwijebo's disc. The vibration in the following battle when the glued cutter parted again shook the screws lose so one side plate and one drive motor became completely detatched.
I have managed to widen the track by changing the motor / sideplate brackets so I can now increase the cutter blade diameter from 84mm to 100mm.

Thats reduced the weight to 140gms so I might just be able to go up to 3 cells if I can fit it in.

Its not the weight so much as the height that is the problem but I think I can get round it.
