Servos
The S136L servo design has been changed, the board is smaller and there is a capacitor across the two motor outputs. Looks better than the old design.

Yep, had them in Duff at AWS 16 on 7.2v. They're reasonably quick on 7.2v. I had them speed hacked at RRC afterwards, and they were just stupidly quick.olivers wrote:I've got some HPX F servo's to play with and they are nice and nippy at 6V. Thanks.
I now have 4 of them speed hacked in TNT

I've got some HPX F servo's to play with and they are nice and nippy at 6V. Has anyone got these servo's and tried them at 7.2V (2 Lithiums)?
Thanks.
Well not exactly, I mistook the HPX F for a Park Flyer and went to aws 16 with it using it as a flipper, and I was running it on 7.2V Ni-Mh during that event. Next time I will use a HPX F with 8.4V liposI think Joacim has been running those on 2 lipos, in flippt!

And I thought that the Park was quick

And I gave up on them when they kept burning out on 4.8V!Andrew_Hibberd wrote:I gave up with naros, when i found they burnt out on 6V...

They provide so much power in such a small package that they are clearly not rated for continuous operation (see other topic re. power dissipation in motors!

Thanks guys, 2 Lithiums it is then. They are a bit to slow for my liking at 6V
but at 7.2 they should do nicely. Can't imagine them speed hacked.
I think i've only killed 1 HP Naro, killed at least 2 SD200's, maybe 3.
PeteW has killed at least 1 Saturn 64 of mine. In revenge I'm sure Pixiedust had one of his servo's apart.
