Looks like we have enough for a good event but still quite a few of the regulars missing.
Really looking forward to this it seems ages since the last AWS.

Apologies for being quiet, we've just got back off holiday so now everythings concentrated on the event.
Yesterday I ordered all the polycarbonate ready cut for the new arena, 5mm all round, the design looks promising and should be finished mid next week.
Arena surface area is 1m x 800mm, no pit, havn`t decided on drop off/end walls yet but they are bolt on so easily changeable.
We should have at least four working robots but who knows with them.

Would be fun to have an arena with minimal drop off again; the event in Wales with no drop off was great fun (though not suggesting limiting the drop off to quite such an extent :L)

Liked the look of the arena at AWS 47 and would be eager to see something like that.

Thanks Pete, Dave Weston has also volunteered his so plenty of backups, however I`m making good progress so fairly confident it will be ready.
Doing some final sketchups tonight and the arena surface is now 920 x 720, allowing for some side protection on the expensive polycarb side panels.
Also ordered some led striplights tonight which should be here around Tuesday.
