Hi
Anybody who is considering getting "Supertec Pico" Servo's should not get them from Sussex Model Centre. They are overcharing for them.
Ashton Models are selling them at the RRSP of 14.99 as issued by Perkins (distributers) in February.
The address of the servo page is:
http://ashtonmodels.co.uk/acatalog/Inde ... s_132.html
Their shop in general is:
http://ashtonmodels.co.uk/acatalog/ashcat.html
Regards
Ian Mc Donald

Hi,
I came across a new Reading robot shop in the local paper yesterday. It's really for autonomous robots, but some of the parts/tools might be useful.
It's on Portman road, and the website is http://www.diyrobotics.com

Im back from the midst - Andy Matthews here (former owner of antagonist). Ive decided not to get back to the antweights - guitars have taken over my life and I cannot stop myself buying them! So my supplies must go. Ive got ALOT of anweight related parts; servos (modified), many many NIMH cells, a couple of recievers etc... If your looking for parts drop me a mail on jammyuk AT blueyonder.co.uk and Ill have a look if I have what you need - they will all be at rock bottom prices

I know this is well OT but it's a tad cool:

How good would it be with a shoulder mounted vulcan cannon?

Oh..My...God, that is so cool. I'm currently more overexcited about getting one of these than a very overexcited thing
They're being released 22nd May, and will cost ?80. You can pre-order them here, As well as seeing a cool video of it running through some basic moves.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Oliver

The development is here:
http://www.solarbotics.net/gallery/Wowwee-Robosapien
The downside is the robot uses a wobble in it's hips to walk rather than using knees. The arm movement makes up for it however.

Can anyone please point me to a site where you can get plastic timing (toothed) pulleys and belts, I've seen a very small selection on an american site so I know they exist, but they were slightly too big, so I'm now trying to find them in ant sizes.
Thanks in advance
