The 30th would be good - the 23rd might be a little bit early for me to get working robots together ^^;;

Ok, cool, I'll go ahead and book 30th May, unless there's any objections?

Re: Non-AWS event - June possibly - South Wales
theres a chance i may be able to come to this. if so i could enter a team consisting of a flipper, a spinner, a grabber and a three part clusterbot. it's a shame Hogi would have to sit out though...

Hi Dan,
Nothing is set in stone yet, but entries will probably be limited to 3 robots per team, instead of 4 as fights will probably take longer. So you couldn't have a flipper, spinner, grabber AND a cluster bot. But you could have any 3 of them. And as for Hogi, it doesn't have to sit out. This won't be a no pusher event, you will just be limited to one per team.
Just to clarify the entry rules again. You will be allowed to enter 3 robots per team:
Robot 1 - Free - This can be whatever you like, a pusher, spinner, flipper
Robot 2 - Must have active weapon - Flipper, spinners, axes, nomming devices etc.
Robot 3 - Must be a spinner/walker/clusterbot - Pretty self explanatory...
I should imagine most people can fit their current robots into the criteria. But it's just to ensure a bit of variety.
Occashokka, sign-up will be open once I've booked the venue, confirmed the date and double checked someone can supply a suitable arena. Hopefully in the next week or so.

As usual Rhys, I'm happy to stream the event if the venue has sufficient internet access.
Regarding the arena, I'll try to get in touch with Andy and check, as he's the one who'd be driving it over in the van.
