I like the sound of that. Can I ask what router you use. Is that something you CAD on sketchup?

Thanks

A super old pic of when I just got it is all I could find, but this is my 3020T CNC router. Served me well for plasticwork though I'm replacing it with a larger WorkBee based machine soon.

Yeah I still do a fair amount of robot CAD in sketchup (The Drillbot was one) though am switching myself to Solid Edge as I use that at work.

When designing test robot please ignore, did you put the blade in the centre of the robot, so that the two sections where the electronics and battery lay, felt the same centrifugal forces, or does it not matter?

I'm afraid I don't understand your question, Do you mean the gyro forces somehow? I put the blade in the middle because its the logical place for a vert to keep it. :P

2mm Drill bit shaft swapped into an 1806 all run off of 2S.
How did she do? I've always wanted to see one of these in action!

Sorry for the obscure Erol Otus reference, this is the only thing I think of when I hear drill bot...

Let's just say that half way through the event I decided make an additional armour panel for the top of my robot.

Normally when entertaining the prospect of fighting big spinners, I feel both nervous and excited.

Drill bot just terrifies me.
