Re: Antweight open 12th November 2016
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome today! Despite not winning any fights I had a blast and both robots only need minor repairs (nothing electronic) and I have plenty of pointers and ideas on how to improve them. Hope the rest of the day was just as fun.

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it
I definitely did, many thanks to Hogi and family for being brilliant as always. It was a lovely relaxed event and good to see everyone and talk robots and generally have lots and lots of fun! Well done to Pete for winning the main competition - Anticyclone gets better every time I see it...

Thanks to everyone who came yesterday. The day went really well and I think everyone had a great time. Special thanks to Peter for bringing the arenas and really helping us out with the draws. Congratulations to all the winners. We hope to run the event again next year.

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic event yesterday; really enjoyed it.
Doktor Power 7 was in a bit of a state (one of the gearboxes kept jamming and only 2 wheels actually touched the floor) but still managed third place in the main competition which was awesome (although poor old Doktor Power was in even more of a state afterwards thanks to Anticyclone
).
Robox was finally expanding properly which was fantastic to see. I was really pleased to win the innovation award with Robox and get recognised for its design. My first entry into the nanoweight scene was fantastic as well with my new nano Muffin, coming second to Li'llest Yoink on a very close and tricky judges' decision.
All of the other events were great fun and it was an awesome feeling to come out of the event with 4 certificates!
Thanks again to everyone; can't wait for the next one.

Yes it like buses you wait around for years and then three come along at once.
Antweight, Fleaweight and Spinner Annihilator I can't quite believe it myself.
Our usual panoramic cameraman filmed it all so it should be available soon.

I have just been watching the video and I hadn't realized how many times Dan you and Alsoran saved termite cluster.
Once by just being there when the other robots went out but twice by single handedly pushing out Vanguard and the last of the three wedges.
