Damn, was hoping you weren't going to say that.

Right so a smaller diagram will be required inside the main one to show the y lead.

Okay then, where do I start with the y lead. Im assuming that its not done completely from scratch and that its a few cables with the right connections that get cut. (Reminds me I need to learn the names of the connectors :D )

Right diagram has been updated. I've added in a zoomed section to see the Y part.

From what I understand, the wires are joined and connected to the original connector from the NanoTwo and use electrical tape to cover up the join.

Would the black cable from the switch connect in with the black from the NanoTwo and ESC?

The switch I have found is this http://www.robotshop.com/uk/sfe-on-off- ... witch.html , I think it will work unless you have other suggestions.

Your last diagram wouldn't be able to turn the robot off and the switch would short the battery. You want something more like this:

Also that switch would be huge, you want something more this size:

Ah, I see. My diagram wasn't that far off then :D

Do you have a link to where to get that kind of switch?

EDIT: would this switch be better - http://www.robotshop.com/uk/tamiya-mini ... h-2pk.html

Thanks. Just purchased a pack :D

I had found some on ebay but wasn't sure about them, they were DPDT and more expensive for less. :D

I now have everything so just need to finalize the bot design and I should be good to go.

Make sure you support the blade on both sides, else the motor will likely break rather quickly. This is usually done by bolting the prop adapter that comes with the motor on the other side of the blade, and then supporting that in a bearing. It's relatively simple and makes for a super strong setup.

I haven't thought that far ahead. I know the motor comes with a few adapters and thats about it.

I was going to do it in this order:

Prop adapter
Blade
Flat adapter bit :)
Motor

You don't need the flat adapter bit. Just sandwhich the blade between prop adapter and the motor.

Will do. That gives me a bit more room. :)

I didnt realise how big the motor / how small the bot was until I put the motor into sketchup to play around with positioning.
