That's impressive hopefully everyone around the arena has quick reflexes...
I think what we agreed on (it's quite early in the morning and I travel down today so I've just been packing!) was that anyone from outside your group could drive the second robot, but I'd check with Dave on that one!

A 12 sided polygon wrapped around into a sphere seems to work well.
Here it is being kicked by my games machine. https://youtu.be/qSOI6Rr9dCI
That looks really good Peter!
Looking forward to the video of the games afterwards (if there is one!)

Trying not to take Antweights too seriously. I think I'm failing.
First AWS was 46.
The one that says "Warning: mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /websites/LinuxPackage05/ro/bo/tw/robotwars101.org/public_html/ants/antweightworldseries/Registration/show_entries.php on line 79" was Li'l Oink and was retyped below. This is not a third robot, just in case it looked like it was.
Thankyou so much to everyone for coming and congrats to Alex, Ryan, John jr., Albert (good to see you guys again!), Dave, and especially thanks to the newcomers for being really nice. I'd say more, but I literally just got in the door due to a frankly staggering comedy of transportation-related errors (we were meant to be home at about 10...) and I'm probably going to go to bed XD Glad you all enjoyed it!

Despite doing badly as always at this type of event and not getting to play Nuts I still had an enjoyable time.
I think it is down more to the people attending and the chance to talk robots to someone who is interested.
Thanks to Dave and Joey for organising and congratulations to those who did well.
ADDENDUM: I've just remembered that I was talking to someone about DSM2 transmitters on the Saturday because of my Futaba conversion adventures but I can't honestly remember who it was - my brain's saying it might've been one of the Phillipsons or John Denny, but I don't know. Whoever it was, drop me a message, sorry!
