Me going is all depending on if me mum orders the remaining parts and if I get mine built in time. If I do then count me in.

I`ve just noticed that JMD has signed up the two that I had already done (ZZ9 & Ant Ratchet) but I don`t know how to remove them.

I assume you won't be needing my arena as you have the Limpet one which is better for the games format.

Yeah we need John's for Nuts as well so we may as well save space and use it for combat too.

Re: 20th August 2016 - The Oxford Games, Carterton
Just knocked up a robot to try and do a little better at the games than I usually do.
It has three configurations as seen in the photo below for nuts, with the scoop on the right for combat and with module on the left for football.
I was considering calling it I can't believe it's not Stanley Mathews but then I remembered how rubbish I was at football and I seem to think there is another robot with a similar name.

We`ve got a rake-bot for nuts 99% finished (Harvester of Sorrow) and I`m looking at another design as well, both with games in mind.

One question if both robots from a team compete in the football at the same time who drives the other one.

Just had a go at 3d printing a football with flats so it doesn't roll about too much.
A 12 sided polygon wrapped around into a sphere seems to work well.
Here it is being kicked by my games machine.
