Hi I'm trying to enter my Antweight "Die Sexy" for this Saturday, but I just cannot get the system to work? Any ideas?

not usually.

Anyway, a little more info about the event....

Firstly, since we had to pay full price for the venue, we will be asking for donations and although I wont be forcing the issue too hard, a donation of £1 per robot or whatever else you can afford would really help us out. This will not be necessary for flea and nano entries as I'm not sure what sort of competition we'll have for them or if we'll even have time to run them.

Secondly: We are now only a week away from the day of the event so could I politely ask all teams who are definitely coming but havn't signed up yet to do so as quickly as possible to give us an idea of numbers for the event. The link to the event sign up page is on the first post of this thread.

Thirdly: I think Harry said he wasn't coming so if anyone else could film the event in full and upload it to youtube, that would be very much appreciated.

Confirmed day schedual....

9:00: organisers arrive to set up hall, make sandwhiches, etc.

10:00: registration and tech checks open.

10:30: Main AWS starts and continues until its conclusion.

The awards for the main competition and the category awards will then be given out so that those who want to disappear early can do so.

The fleaweight and nanoweight tournaments will then happen and depending on the time they may be done in the form of melees but hopefully we'll have time to do a full tournament both classes.

If there is anytime left at the end we will do an annihilator but we almost certainly wont have time to do a full annihilator so it will likely just be however many robots we can fit in the arena, 3-2-1-ACTIVATE and fight until one robot remains.

We have to be finished and out by 5pm.

Thanks for reading and sorry for the long post. I wish everyone a great week and safe journey here on Saturday. :)

Thanks: Dan.

bigis111, Hi, might be best to try private messaging beligerant as that's Gary and he invented the signup system we now use. If you really can't get it to work, I shouldn't think it would be too much of a problem to enter you're robot into the system on the day. :)

Unfortunately I've got to miss this one as my younger daughter is having surgery. In my place please cheer on the underdog (whomever that may be) :-)
