There's a clear version but we all know orange is the best!

A tiny printer from Hobbyking, it's a bit too small for printing whole ants on but it's still pretty decent for the price of £115. The metal extruder is a nice touch and the hotend is from E3D who are very reputable.
Only prints 80x80x80mm though, I could fit the entire printer inside the build volume of my current one.

Re: Hobbyking Mini Fabrikator Printer
For anyone interested this has also bought their big fabrikator down about £50, to now only £200, I am eyeing up the big one for a Christmas / next summer- hopefully it will be cheaper again by then.
EDIT: Just seen its only special offer from £290 with free postage so will be back up shortly I guess

Let me know how it is! I'm quite keen on the idea of getting one and giving it a heated bed to print wheels on without having to use my big printer.haz wrote:And that is why I bought one. Came to £192 shipped with my HobbyThing points.

Re: Hobbyking Mini Fabrikator Printer
I'm a machinist rather than a maker so all this 3d printing lark is very foreign to me. No doubt I'll be needing help with something on this before too long so don't expect any amazing reviews
Small miracle if i can get it to produce more than a melted heap.
