Lovely to see Lionel (one of my favourites actually) in such good shape! I can't wait to see it perform great at the AWS.

Bad day for my robots today;

Turns out one of the cells in FlailWhale's battery is dead, which'll be fun to replace... Also managed to leave Lionel switched on in my bag on the way back from the Robot Wars group meeting today, which means that battery's also dead. To make matters worse, when I plugged a new battery into Lionel, the servo wouldn't work and then a lot of magic smoke came out of the ESC for as yet unknown reasons... So much for Lionel being in good shape! :s

During the fights today Lionel's new setup seemed to work pretty well at least, but still has problems with the flipper not shutting properly. If I can fix that problem (and all of the above :roll: ) then it'll be much more effective than before.

Also my shipment of 100 googly eyes arrived today... I feel the need to build a robot just to make use of them all ;)
