Re: New Robots- Continued
Well the servo for the weapon has been moved to btbboh as that one broke because I put too much voltage through it (clever I know) then the servos I used for drive for some resin aren't very fast so I've took everything out and using the shell for a new one with 50:1 motors, a pete Waller board and a 7.4v lipo
Probably a pusher/scooper as the servo I ordered hasn't arrived and I doubt it will before sunday

My dad always used to say I'm sick of you saying dad sonive changed my name to (the massive word)
It's always been in my memory
So I'm probably going to use it but how do I write it on the bot?
Probably time to get the sharpie pen out

Whisper it quietly but neither of the AWS33 finalists had their name written on the robot ;P
That is an excellent name though, look forward to seeing its antidisestablishmentarianist antics

Tempest 2 is now finished- had to remake the drum out of HDPE to get this version in weight but is is 149g now so all the work did pay off

Also spent some time today testing Inertia 2 and the new sharper disc seems to be working well- sliced through varying thicknesses of HDPE and aluminium before throwing the old shell that it was attacking over the 6ft fence into next doors garden

Pretty unimpressive at that angle but I'm hoping to do as well as last time. Kiwi XL is new but nothing special as I wasn't expecting to come and put it together in a hurry. Despite this, it HURTS if you get our hand stuck under the claw.
