AWS34 Reading March 12th 2011
[Edit]
AWS34 will be run by the two Daves at Reading University
The address of The University of Reading is
Whiteknights Campus
Earley Gate
Whiteknights Road
READING
Berkshire
RG6 7BE
For Satellite Navigation the coordinates of the club are Lat: 51?26'30.35"N Long: 0?56'6.85"W.
It's a big campus, so you might have more luck looking at this map where the bowls club is number 21 on square C8. Use the Earley Gate entrance to the University's Whiteknights campus.
Competitor sign up is at:
http://robotwars101.org/ants/antweightw ... php?id=118
A list of those who have signed up is at:
http://robotwars101.org/ants/antweightw ... php?id=118
[End Edit]
Please post here if you want to volunteer to run AWS34.
The date needs to be around the end of February/early March. Brighton Modelworld is mid-February and many people need a couple of weeks to recover before an AWS!
You need to have been involved in a few AWS's and a regular competitor. You need to be over 18 to book a venue. Offers from family teams are welcome.
The AWS committee will discuss the venue and organiser for AWS34 at AWS33.

Right, well me and RazerDave want to put a bid in I think, so we'll get the ball rolling.
We've been talking about it a bit, and I said if I got a job it'd be a definite, and I got one today. We want to host somewhere where more people are likely to be able to make it, and were thinking of Reading, with a bit of help from Will Thomas.
