I turn a tube from nylon bar that bolts to the bulkhead and runs inside the wheel keeping the wheel straight and holing the motor up to the gearbox.

shame about the printed chassis but it looks just as good without really.

yeah although this is only for brighton as I have a pneumatic set up to build up eventually.

Finally got round to fitting some teeth to the new Mutant drum.
Might need to sharpen them and then fit the controller and it should be ready for Brighton.

yes it was supposed to print out as several parts so that all the flipper mech rotated in the correct places but it printed the seperate material together as one piece because of accuracy issues... 3D printing is basically done by building up tiny layers of about 0.1mm thick to create a 3D part. I think for nylon they laser sinter each layer from a powder although i may be wrong.

Mutant is finally finished ready for AWS 33.
It now has the two front prongs to hopfully guide the opposition up into the mincer.
