I had a small collection a few years ago (I think its still under my bed actually). I was never that impressed with the quality of it... everything felt very cheap even when you you were spending small fortune on it. I gave it up pretty quickly!

I was just talking to my son on the phone and Warhammer is apparently still going well. He says most gamesworkshop shops have tables where you can play and most towns have clubs that the shops can put you in touch with. There is a national centre called Warhammer World in Nottingham which is decked out inside like a castle where they have 150 tables and run events. He is infact entred in the nation doubles tournament in a couple of weeks time.

No wonder they are still going strong, they've had several video games and such for years!

I have beeen to warhammer world. it is AMAZING!
They have a least 50 different gaming tables, 80 hobby benches for building and painting, a MASSIVE games workshop, and the legendary citidel minitures hall. It has all of the modes ever PRODUCED in the warhammer, warhammer 40k, lotr, epic, inquisitor, forge world, ranges, all painted expertly by the 'eavy metal team (the guys who work at warhammer and paint amazingly well).

I play it. I currently own 5K of warhammer 40K and some battlefleet gothic. I have Chaos, Imperial guard, Necrons, orks and Eldar. For BFG I have chaos and eldar.

Plus some of my different mates are trying it!
