I Spoke to Anthony yesterday at Aylesbury, and we'll bring Fast Dalek along for Nathan to battle, for as long as his batteries hold out, on Sunday.
BTW, I had an idea for an antweigh pay per drive... How about an equivalent of tag antweights, where all the robots look a bit like pants, but have pencils instead of blades, and replaceable paper "armour". Whichever robots draws on the other more wins. We could also run them off AAA batteries, to last longer. What do people think?

Which day are people going? I would love to get a few autographs but they seem pretty expensive.
I have the parts to make at least 2 pay per drive ants, bung a big Tx battery on them and there you go. I have 1 spare 40MHz Tx.
If anyone has one of the 12V chargers for NiMh batts I could drag a 12V 7Ah battery down.

Hi,
We spent the day at London expo (it was a lot of fun) and it really hit me that most of the time was spent recharging our batteries, rather than entertaining the masses. I've just experimented attaching a duracell 9v battery to Fast Dalek, and although it's probably a bit overweight, I imagine it'll run for a very long time now, and no need for a recharge, just change batteries... (although possibly a bit expensive it should work for "demo" competitions.
I'll test it at Ickenham.
