Roaming Robots Summer Camp

Post by peterwaller »

Has any one seen the FRA site where Roming Robots are proposing a summer camp 13th - 20 Aug at Thorpe Park. This would be an excellent chance to get Antweights to a wider audiance. It wouldn't necessarly have to be all week. I have posted on the FRA site asking if ants can join and I will let you know if I get any reply. If anyone is interested please post below.

The roaming robots newsletter (today) says 4 x 1 hour shows each day in a 900-seat arena with big plasma screens etc for 8 days! This gives us two Saturdays and one Sunday that we could potentially get a reasonable turnout for.
I think we need to figure out which day(s) suit us best and propose something to RR.

James & I may be able to make one day the first w/e (need to check the calendar!) but we are busy the 2nd w/e. Might even manage the whole first w/e ... (TBC)

I am not sure its even going to happening. I no at one time on the FRA website they said it was looking unlikly for this year and last time I looked the thread was not there any more. I moght be worth checking the roaming robots site.
