Post by BeligerAnt »

Simon, is the event still on? What's happening? Who's coming? Do you need us to bring any arenas?

Hi Gary

Yes, we're still on. Sat 26th 12-4pm, usual place.

I have had replies from Tom's Robots, Duff Robotics, Team Termite and Team BeligerAnt, so it will be a small one this time.

Events will be Obstacle course, Sumo, Non-spin combat, & Spin combat and we'll probably have time for football as well.

I've only had one completed form. It would make things a lot easier for me on the day if I could have the rest of your forms.

Code: Select all

Team name: _________________________
Number of people in team: ______
(please state if robots have crystals that cannot be removed)
Robot name ________________ ________________ ________________
Frequency 40. 40. 40.
Obstacle course Y/N Y/N Y/N
Sumo Y/N Y/N Y/N
Non-spin combat Y/N Y/N Y/N
spin combat Y/N Y/N Y/N
Your Sumo arena and Peter's arena would both be very useful, and your stopwatch as well please.

Thanks - Simon

Thanks for a fun day Simon.
RONNY performed consistantly - losing absolutely every contest!
The last bout vs MilitAnt resulting in another slice through the CF armour and a punctured and destroyed receiver crystal!
The next version of RONNY will feature anti-MilitAnt Kevlar-and-Titanium armour...
RampAnt fared slightly better - losing in the end to a flat battery pack leading to loss of control!
