Hi Ben (loftyD)
Unfortunately me and my son (Team S-R) will not be able to make it on Sunday.
I don't like backing out at such short notice so I feel obliged to make sure the organizers are not out of pocket because of my bad planning. At events there is a donations pot but is there a way I can send some ££ to you chaps??
Thanks
James

you not attending has not put us out of pocket so not to worry... just a shame you couldn't join us this time...

save the donation until the next event you attend.

On that point, I assumed there would be some sort of fee for entry but haven't seen one mentioned. Or is this another noob misunderstanding on my part?

At most events, there isn't a fee but there will usually be a box for donations to cover costs.

There won't be an entry fee as such, but a suggested donation of £5 per team to help cover costs. There will be a box to put your donations.

For sanitary reasons, we might have to agree an alternative etiquette to the customary handshake after each fight. Maybe a martial-arts style bow - or a gentle Tx bump.
