AWS 47 - Stoke Sub Hampton - July 4th 2015

Post by Rapidrory »

Ow! *Kicks Dave back*

Yeah, so having originally said I'd do an event, and that event turning into the next AWS, I'm not 100% sure my venue (the barn at home) will actually fit the number of people who turn up to an AWS. I mean, it will at the moment, but it may well be largely filled with hay by the time the Summer rolls around. If it's good weather it'll be fine, as we can have sections of the pit outside (it's an open barn), but having a weather dependant AWS wouldn't be ideal. As such I'm gonna see if I can find a local village hall that's suitable at least as a backup, but probably will end up being there depending on whether the shed fills up with hay. I do hope to do an actual non AWS event at my farm at some point, with feather's (electric, non-spinner only), beetles, ants etc. as a bit of a fun mix, but that's for another day.

The date for this is pretty much set as the 4th July.

Address:

Stoke Sub Hampton Village hall
Somerset
TA14 6PU

It's one of Wills Nano Kits (though I expect brought into the weight requirement). You can see the class of each entry on the right of the signup sheet.

Well Joel, I put it down as just a solo bot but I might need tempted to buy another kit and have it as a flea. I'm sure Rory wouldn't mind that?? :P
