Re: Event Signup revision
That would help me so much if that was possible! I would instantly sign up with four "TBA" s for every event if I could edit it later.
Is there any way of getting the sign ups to appear in, say, alphabetical order based on name of person? So if someone signs up 2 entries, then a third later on, they all get grouped together still?

Do we really need the country column?

Re: Event Signup revision
Replace with a County/city column maybe? Might be useful and interesting to see where everyone is coming from

Re: Event Signup revision
Providing a sort on any column of the displayed table shouldn't be that difficult
The ability to export the entries and maybe to import the results back into the DB would be really labour-saving. Options of human-friendly and computer-friendly formats would be good. A nice simple API for AntLog 3.0 if I ever get round to it! CSV would be fairly simple for AntLog 2.0 as it's all based on a spreadsheet. Loading the entries should be pretty trivial, putting the results back in may be a bit more complicated...
BTW I'm happy to donate my PHP and Javascript skills to the cause!

Whatever Gary said, I think I agree.

We can certainly export to CSV (I thought I'd done that actually - haven't looked at the organiser tools yet) and sorting can be done.
The country column was because for a while we were getting quite a few non-UK entries (Ireland, Sweden, Holland, etc.) but we've not had many of them recently. I might leave it and add a city column as well.
I would like to connect the sign up to the forum login, which would allow people to edit their own data. I did look at this some years back but will have to look at it again.
I will probably issue an interim update with some basic changes and look to do more advanced stuff as I go.

Re: Event Signup revision
My point was more the country/city column is occasionally interesting but it isn't needed in the slightest.

The only parts that are "needed" are name, robot name and robot type really. In a world of 2.4ghz, everything else is extraneous.

Re: Event Signup revision
New registration form is now live - please let me know if you hit any bugs. It is more or less backwards compatible with the old ones so organiser forms should work ok possibly with some odd data. I will update those next.
Had to re-write the database section and getting cross browser CSS working tried my patience somewhat, but I think it's an improvement.
Please note - it is now only a one page form!
