I was thinking of doing the fleas in Andy and Scotts arena, mainly because there's not really the room for another arena, but if it's preferred by everyone else to have a smaller arena for fleas, I can try and accommodate that.

BTW, I noticed something watching Will's AWS. After round 4, there was a 10 min break in the proceedings. That's basically what I suggested, just filling the time with beetles whilst other folks fixed their robots. Why was that jumped on ? Yes I may have suggested 30 mins, but my point is valid (considering Will's event finished ahead of schedule and had time for fun fights).

At any rate, I hope this event does go well and it works out :)

I think the difference is the break in Will's was improvised on the day because there was time, whereas you're trying to schedule one from the start that may not happen. Like Scott said, its about being flexible to changes.

I don't mind running fleas in the Scott-Box (sorry Andy, your name doesn't rhyme), but they may then need longer cos the fights could last longer. Same as the AWS. At Will's event, the smaller arena made for some shorter fights. The bigger arena can lead to longer fights, which people want, but it needs considered for schedules.

I believe the idea is to use Scott and Andy's if they can oblige. If not, will probs be Peter's.

We will be using the Scott-box (catchy that :) ) for the AWS, but what configuration is to be determined, because the arena drop off rule was discussed but not properly voted on (which I hope to rectify soon, bit late ATM *sleepy*.

Finally signed up for this! Was hoping to have 2 new robots for this event, but the real world has conspired against me. It'll be the same line-up as last time, but to be honest I'll be glad just to have made it to this event!

Any news on the Beetleweight competition? I have enough bits to get one together, if other people are bothering...
