I'll put my hand up and say I am a football fan (Tottenham Hotspurs FTW :)). Heres my little introduction to the AWS, and my submission for the life in the day thing:

As with all the others thanks to Craig and the team for a great event and congratulations to all the winners.
It is nice to see so many new people and many of them doing very well.
You know it must be a great event when you go home having won nothing  but having had a really good time  .

Thanks so much to Craig and Dave and James and Gary and everyone for hosting, and everyone else for being there and being brilliant as usual :) well done to Will and all the newcomers and everyone who won something, I had a great time despite the 22 hour day that resulted and an encounter with a very drunk stag party on the train at Cheltenham...:)

Really pleased that Catatonia won something, even if it required a lot of luck to do so, and that all the robots survived intact. Looking forward to the next event already (and I'll see Dave's Spurs and raise him Pontefract Collieries...)

Thanks to Ceri for the lift back to the station too :)

A big thanks to Craig for organising the venue and Gary and James for running the ant log.

I was very impressed with how smoothly the whole event went, there was very little '2 minutes I need to glue my wheels back on/change my battery' etc. Its also good to see so many robots turn out.

Very little damage sustained to my bots, but I am inspired to get my pneumatic set up working properly, and maybe something to replace anticipation.

See you all in Reading.
