18th June - Sly Practice in the North West

Not a formal event as such, but myself and anoptimistprime are getting together for some sly practise at a local friendly hostelry at noon

It is about 2 mins off the M62 J20. I guess that there is no-one else close enough to be interested, but I thought it would be rude if I didn't ask

It's on Saturday the 18th at 12 noon for lunch then let battle commence
Also call me Danny it's easier than that mahoosive name I chose haha

I'll bring an arena style tray thing and some scales along with the two boys I've been working on
Htbboh (held together by bands of hope)
And spamalot (dispite having a few binding problems at the mo)

I may not be able to bring my arena thingy as I'm probs getting the bus as it's so near to my house
But if we set up a table and surround it with chairs then it'll do

If I'm anywhere near a pub its normally 'lightweight' that I hear. 'Antweight testing' maybe even more apt lol

I now have two bots up and running even though the flippers don't seem to be very effective against each other though
They may end up being modified again before Saturday
Hopefully the batteries will last for a few battles as I have one per robot

I'm going to be down to 1 driver (George has a sudden opportunity to get an athlete badge ) but I'll bring both 'bots and our table top arena. Don't know if kickboxer will turn up, but I'm really looking forward to it
