Sounds good, O2 is not far away so Easter plans aside I'll be there
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left

Only people with the 32 heavyweights in the main competition get the free hotel. Anyone coming with a heavyweight not in main competition, a featherweight, or ants has to make their own way with accomodation and such. But still, its a great way to join in the event, and get in for free.
I am assuming Dave Weston will be the guy to talk to about ants at this event, though he is looking after a heavy for it, so might be more involved with that.

I signed up yesterday with my new heavyweight so we'll definitely be there. I can't wait!

FYI there probably won't be a formal antweight competition, just a chance to be there and to show the audience what we do. As Dave says, no money but a chance to get in for free, and have a ringside seat.

I may be able to make one day, but I know if I do go I will end up spending more money on something heavier

This is copied directly from Jonnos post on the FRA forum for those wondering about an antweight competition

"Yes,

We will be running an antweight comp, and a fw comp throughout."

Thought you might like to know :)

I'm guessing the ants will be some sort of "side show", maybe in the pits area at the barrier. Anyone who ever saw the Robot Wars qualifiers live will know what I mean. But I hate to speculate when it's nothing to do with me, lol.

If you're planning on coming along then you might want to sort yourself out a roboteer ID at http://roamingrobots.co.uk/?pages=roboteers and sign up. You also will want to consider FRA membership (?10 for a year).
