I'll sign up when I'm certain I can make it - need to check as my parents will be away next weekend.
(ah, the joys of being a teenage roboteer
)
EDIT: Signed up now, with Jet Stream (my AQA Extended Project robot - so be gentle with it!), Jigsaw, Arcus, and Spall.

Hi guys,
I'll be there and hopefully I'll have an ant with me, I've retired Uber-ant after the disasterous result in AWS 33 and shelled out on some geared motors for some real speed and power and Mr Waller has been good enough to make me a motorcontroller. The new and hasn't been named yet as I only sort of finished it today. I've got it to the point where i could start testing it out and in my excitment I connected the lipo to the contoller the wrong way round. POP! Dead.
hopefully I can get it working again so I can compete as I dont think it has the same impact as a static display. Any advice will be very welcome.

Oh dear :/ it happens to everyone at some point, consider it a roboteering rite of passage...you may be able to have a word with Peter at the event about getting it fixed, or alternatively rig up some servo boards as a quick and cheap controller replacement.
You're also welcome to drive one of my robots at the event if you're without something working
you might actually be able to control Jetstream better than I can, heh...

, is not going to be a spinner but I'll improvise something
