Wabbajack is a great name!
The registration form takes 2 mins (all the info we really need is your name and the robot's name). You can always sign up and then tell us you cant make it after, no biggie. But we really hope to see you there!

wabbajack is a brilliant name! do you have a picture of it dangerous Dave? i also second that the antweight mob are pretty much the friendliest, most helpful and accepting group around. lookin' forward to seeing you all on saturday.
as for my team status, all robots fully upgraded/fully completed. just need to do some practising now.
if mum and Dad can drive to any sort of standard that is

Glad you like Wabbajack lol. Yeah here's a picture, it's a load of rubbish I made and then my 5 yr old decorated it lol. I bought one of the kits and stuck everything to a baseplate I cut. Then just sort of tie the plastic body together. It's actually pretty sturdy. It's been hard as I have a feather I just finished and a heavy that's being jigged up and welded this week, I'm not actually that good at making anything as it's all made from found rubbish lol mostly.

Awesome! Love the unique shape!
Re: AWS 45 - Coventry - 1st November 2014
that's brilliant! it's actually nice to see a pusher that isn't just a plastic/metal block with wheels like all three of my pushers are.

Lol thanx, there's some wheel guards we've made this afternoon (with the 5 yr old nearly losing several fingers in the process...haha my parenting skills are awesome) that need to be stuck on but all in all we're happy with our joint project. It'd be better if it were invertable but the layout made it hard and I didn't really have a clue what to build. Having said that my first feather was a state and it was only after getting to see the competition up close that it started to spark ideas for the second robot. Hoping for something similar with this. You can't see it from pictures but your robots are all really...flat?...and I can't work out how they get all plugged up without the rats nest of cabling inside of 4 inch cubed.

You will learn so much from just coming, seeing all the others up close, and competing. No doubt yours will outdo all of ours though, that's what usually happens. I'm hoping for a Wabbajack vs Wobbit fight, just cos of the names!
Incidentally, still a fair few left to sign up. The Pig teams, Andy Hib, Alex, Callum, Scott !...no Woods, no Chris, no welsh Andy, no Matt, no Krissy, no Pete C...
