BTW, on my recent count up, even with the slight rule change for entrants, we’re going to have to work through 142 robots...

A note for competitors: the venue and tech checks will be open from 8 until 10. Earlier you can get there the better it’ll be for us all, there are a LOT of fights to get through.

OK everyone, so here is the schedule for Saturday:

7: Doors open to volunteers, open to everyone else at 7:30
8-10: Tech check
10-10:30: Raffle draw, qualifying melees and fleaweight melee.
10:30-1: Main competition
1-1:20: Lunch
1:20: Finish main competition, certificates/awards and additional melees
6-7: End

Sign ups close Tuesday at 10pm.

is it alright to fill out forms tonight, because i just confirmed i can actually make it, so gotta fill out a form for me and my dad?
also, will a weight tolerance be applied in tech checks?

it also isn't too long of a journey for me, so should be arriving fairly early with solderburn v2!

Update about food options for Saturday!

Sadly the cafe is now unlikely to be open on the day.
I will set up a 'tuck shop' instead, for hot and cold drinks and snacks (crisps, biscuits etc).
Info about the nearest places to get lunch is in the venue info on the first page of this thread.

Also - if you haven't yet filled in the Google form, please please do so by Thursday! It will create more admin for me on Saturday morning if you don't so I'd greatly appreciate it thanks to everyone who has already filled it in.
