Going into diplomatic mode Simon I don't think Gary ment his post to come over quite as abruptly as it may appear. Getting the dates together seems to be more of a problem these days so maybe we need to have a bit of a rethink. Originally the Reading Club was about a month before the AWS to enable final testing of robots. But the Reading Club events have now grown into a major series in its own right so maybe we should alternate them on a two monthly cycle. Further perhaps we could set fixed target dates for the 3 AWS's and 3 RRC so the organisers have a date to aim for with a much bigger leeway to avoid close encounters that we sometimes get at the moment. It also gives other people like Jack and family who organise less regular events to plan ahead. The last thing we need is less antweight events.
Having suggested it I suppose I should come up with something to kick of the discussions so as we need to avoid the school summer holidays maybe we could aim for say the first Saturday of the following months.
AWS.....March.........July.........Nov
RRC.....January.......May........Sept

I should be able to make it if I can catch a late train to Reading on Friday.
One question, what is the veiw on which events I can enter my pneumatic ant with the weapon. As on full power it is only able to throw another ant a foot or so at best as seen on the video:

Reading back through the thread, I think this event has been postponed until January/February.
Simon, please can you confirm, and edit the thread title as necessary. Might be best to mark this event as cancelled, lock the thread and then start a new one for the Jan/Feb event. If you need me to edit/lock the thread, just ask.
