Before you criticize another person, first walk a mile in their shoes. Then, when you critisize them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes.

I have a bad history with beltsanders after one fatal open evening at my school when I was asked to go in to take part in a dt lesson to show the type of stuff that we do and sanded off the top of my index finger when I tried to sand a piece of plastic slightly too thin

If you're determined to get an old FW shell you'll be far more likely to get one on : http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/forum/ which is where you'll find more information on building featherweights, this forum is predominantly for antweights.

I also forgot to ask, will m4 screws and bolts be strong enough to hold a shell together ?

Looks really promising, will it have a faster lifter this time ?
And what type of spray paint would work on hdpe ?
