I noticed the other day that Blacks (camping/outdoor pursuits shop) sell titanium tent pegs, some made from angle plate, others made from wire/rod.

May be of use to someone...

(I'm sure they were cheaper in-store)

Found this the other day. May be a more reliable supply than Ebay.

325mm X 120mm X 1mm.

It doesn't say what grade it is but if it's for car mods presumably it isn't grade 5! They also have rod on the site.

Just looking on ebay and there are quite a few bits of titanium there mostly from the Isle of Wight.
Search Titanium Sheet.

Was a bit unsure when it comes to working with TI.

Just to make sure when suming it up: I should drill with a slow speed and preferrably with a cobalt drill and use some fluid?
When it comes to cutting shall i use some grinding bit on a dremel or similar or could i easily cut / saw it with some other tool?

I've ordered a piece of 1mm grade 2 titanium, which on ebay there are 2 more for a reasonable price:

There's quite a bit of titanium sheet on Ebay at the moment. Grade 2, I've just got some of this as well as some 1mm offcuts.

I am looking out for some Ti, or suitable replacement. Ebay seems to have 0.6 and 1.6mm atm, which is I think will be too thin and too thick. 5cm by 14cm would easily cover what I need, does anyone have anything lying arround or know a good source?
