square titanium rod

Post by alasdair »

Does anyone know where I can get some square titanium rod from? It is for an antweight so it needs to be about 1\2" wide and high and any length.

thanks :D .

Try posting on the wanted section of the FRA forum, someone may have something. Also try ebay it has random bits on there.

A piece of Ti 12.5mm by 12.5mm will be VERY heavy, would you not be able to use a thinner piece or use something like aluminium as it is half the weight. Or use a much thinner piece of steel?

A 2x2mm square rod? What are you planning on using it for?

ive got some aluminium stuff , i cant see a titanium rod having that much of an advantage over an aluminium one of the same size (is it for your axe?), also a titanium rod is going to be VERY expensive in comparison to an aluminium rod
