http://www.dycem.com - The non-slip mat from Dycem is the best stuff for antweight wheel grip/tread.

http://rswww.com - RS components. Much the same as Farnell, but you have to pay for postage.

http://www.maplin.co.uk - Much like Farnell and RS comp they also sell NiMH batteries and electronics stuff.

This post has been throught about because of all the new people joining the forum and I think this is the right place to put it without swamping the antweight thread.

Dycem - you can get it from your local disability aids shop.

http://www.farnell.com - For NiMH batteries and electronics stuff. Minimum order ?10, post free, usually next day delivery. TIP use the search to find each component, then it tells you if it's in stock. Otherwise you have to go all thru the buying screens before you find it's all out of stock!

They have a big catalogue full of all sorts of tools and useful bits & pieces.

Minimum order is &7.50, but postage is free. They also attend many model exhibitions and you can order stuff to collect at an exhibition.

Today I received my first order from Action Kits and was about to post their address here - then I saw Andrew had beaten me to it!

Anyway, apart from kits, they also sell 40MHz Hitec Feather Rx's @ ?18 ea.
What's more, they have them in stock, which is more than can be said for SMC!

Does anyone know the best way for a push-bot eg fast, wide wheels, or lots of torque thin wheels ???
