I agree it could do with a new name- need suggestion. Current option is Leviosa.

Still playing around with options for the spinner- need some inspiration for it.

Is this using that huge disc or are you starting a new one?

After recieving my order of those tiny dual motor drive units last week I decided to try some out.

Lumos was the first to recieve them after I broke one of the servos during testing. I split the units in half, wired them into the servo boards and configured them in a new assembly. The result is far better than I expected! They have an excellent balance of speed and torque and Lumos can now easily move one of my fleas around.

I then had a go at making a 4wd nano using these. I had intented to order a deltang rx for this but being a bit cheap I chose to go with a lemon rx and a couple of modded servo boards. The end result was pretty damn good! It can push an ant with relative ease and the speed is just right. Even had enough weight left for an HDPE front and milk bottle armour. Just needs a name now :)

Glad to see the milk bottle armour is spreading; it saved Haggis from Ickle nicely at the weekend :P The 4x4 thing looks very much like the new Minidozer, if not a bit wider. Very much looking forward to my shipment of those drive units arriving; at 75p each you couldn't really ask for more :L
