Regarding signatures, I'd really like to see a rule put in place limiting the height of them. It's incredibly infuriating having to read a thread where the majority of posts are 2-line responses, followed by a signature that takes up half of the screen. It makes the threads look cluttered and messy.

Scott has a very good point.

Please can everyone limit their signature to 100 pixels high, or 3 lines of text. Spare a thought for those on a slow connection and/or a small display!

Remember you can also upload an avatar to display in the panel to the right (or left, depending on which theme you use) of your posts by going to the "User Control Panel" - link at top of every page.
Avatars can be up to 80 x 80 px and may be GIF or JPG (possibly also PNG, not sure).

also new signature done, it's 100 pixels weight 450 pixels width so there's a rough idea of how big 100 pixels is :)

Also, if you don't want to see people's signatures at all then you can turn them off. Go to User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit display options and then set "Display signatures" to "no" (and then don't forget to click Submit!)
