sometimes when i hack my servos for 360degree rotation even if i dont touch the electronics and motor on the bottom the servo gets a mind of its own (it wont reverse and i cant change the speed of the servo or the direction its moving )
this isnt ants this 1 but 2 of them are futaba s148 and then ive got a protech 9gram sg90
i dont get were u use glue on the s148 i cut out that plastic tab and the protech i just took out the tabs and made the hole in the top cog slightly wider
You disconnect the mechanical drive to the pot but there is still the chance it could move and there by change your zero position. It is nomal to put a small amount of glue on the pot to stop it from moving. Make sure the glue get no where near where the wiper touches the track as this can cause problems especially with superglue that has the ability to seep into such places.
