Mixing on Devo 7E

Hey,
Has anyone worked out how to do mixing on the Devo 7E with the deviation software?
I've had a look through the user manual but the section on mixing seems to be talking about changing the acceleration curve rather than mixing two channels together (like a v-tail mixer)

Yeah, I spent ages trying to work it out but had no luck. I know it is possible, just clearly not the most intuitive...
