Re: Cubes
How much would anyone be prepared to pay for a really accurate (much better than 0.5mm overall) cube, and how many people would want one?
I'm thinking of laser cut acrylic and have a couple of ideas about possible sources. The material cost is almost negligible (only a couple of quid at most), it's the machine time that costs.
So, if you're interested post below and indicate how much you are willing to pay. I suspect we're talking 10's of pounds being realistic.

Re: Cubes
I'm interested. Tens of pounds sounds reasonable to me. Probs fork up to 20.

Re: Cubes
Sounds good.I am with Dave.
Could we score/etch a line on the inside surfaces of the 4" cube,to give a 3" guideline too,to save making another cube?
I guess it all adds to the cost,at the end of the day. Forget I mentioned it.
I rekon we would sell a lot more at £10,than £20?(But I am aware that it will cost what it costs!!)

Re: Cubes
If I can have a finalised number needed I can make up a load on my next batch of machining. My one is laser cut from clear acrylic and slots together. £10 a cube should easily cover it. Can also do some 3" ones without a a problem too.
